2013 Mountaire Scholarship Program:

Mountaire Farms is pleased to offer college-bound children/grandchildren of our employees, growers and grain producers the opportunity to receive scholarships of $2,500 each. Preference will be given to a course of study applicable to agriculture or related industry.

This is an outstanding way to recognize our young people and provide assistance in achieving their educational goals.

Applications will be accepted from now through June, 3rd with our scholarship recipients to be announced on July 2nd, 2013.

2012Scholarship Recap:
Mountaire Farms is pleased to announce the recipients of their 2012 Scholarship Awards.  This year Mountaire is proud to provide $2,500 scholarships to college bound or currently enrolled college students who are children or grandchildren of Mountaire employees, growers or grain producers for the company.  Recipients are chosen based on several criteria including academics, community involvment and field of study.  Winners are selected from all locations which include Mountaire Farms of Delmarva (Selbyville, DE), Mountaire Farms of Delaware (Millsboro, DE) and Mountaire Farms of North Carolina (Lumber Bridge, Candor, Siler City, Statesville).  To view this years deserving flock of winners click on the links below.   


*** Mountaire Corporation Awards First Scholarship: 


The Corporate Office in Little Rock came together on July 31st to honor the first Mountaire Corporation Scholarship Recipient. The $2,500 scholarship was offered to the children and grandchildren of employees to assist in supporting the importance of higher education.

The scholarship committee met and selected Taylor Fowler, daughter of Jim and Patricia Fowler, as the winner of the scholarship. Taylor demonstrated a strong commitment to her studies and community involvement as well as a financial need to help pay for expenses when she starts college at Ouachita Baptist University in the fall.
