Mountaire Presents the Eastern Shore’s Best Wing Competition
On Sunday, April 22nd at the Pork in the Park Festival in Salisbury, MD the debate over who makes the Best Wings on the Eastern Shore will be resolved when Mountaire Farms presents the Eastern Shore’s Best Wing Competition!
(Salisbury, MD) This Sunday, April 22nd head out to Winter Place Park in Salisbury, MD and enjoy the Inaugural Eastern Shore’s Best Wing Competition presented by Mountaire Farms. Just follow your nose and the pig signs off Route 50 in order to find the Pork in the Park BBQ Festival. On Sunday, this family friendly BBQ event will feature live music, a Corn Hole Tournament and the Eastern Shore’s Best Wing Competition. It is entertainment the whole family will enjoy, and all for as little as $2 per person with kids under 12 getting in free!
The Best Wings Competition will run from 1pm to 3pm inside the main judge’s tent. Once inside all attendees can vote on who has the Best Wings on the Shore. Tasting tickets are $5 for 6 wings, $10 for 12 wings or $15 for 18 wings. Patrons will be tasting wings from a variety of restaurants from across Maryland who have tossed their hat into the ring for the title of Eastern Shore’s Best Wing!
All the wings cooked for the event will be provided by Mountaire Farms. Mountaire is proud to help bring this long overdue competition to the Pork in the Park Festival.
