Inaugural Wing Eating Contest - 06.18.11
The Mountaire Sales team helped kick-off a new event at the 62nd Annual Delmarva Chicken Festival when they helped organize and participate in the the Inaugural Mountaire Wing Eating Contest. The event was 5-minutes of face stuffing action involving delicously plump Mountaire wings prepared buffalo style. For an added bonus, competitors were not allowed to drink water for 3-minutes following the event, just to see them sweat. When it was all said and done, Darrell Bennett took home the title barely edging out Mountaire VP of Sales and Marketing Phil Plylar.
